Awards and Recognitions Alumnus Bebel receives award D'Artagnan Bebel Congratulations to Houston’s     FOX 26 Vice President and General Manager D'Artagnan Bebel on his Living Legend Award at the 18th Annual 2015 Men of Style Fashion Awards. D’Artagnan is an SOC alum who is a leader in the broadcasting industry and his community. The award recognizes  professional and civic-minded men who are also fashion forward. Payne  was awarded Honors of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) in November at the Association's annual convention in Denver, Colorado. Newsworthy: SOC Students and Alumni Cover Story SOC alumna Maya Rhodan was part of a team of reporters at Time magazine to capture an important story. She spent two months in Charleston, South Carolina to interview the families and survivors of the Mother Emanuel AME Church massacre. The story they published tells an intimate story of forgiveness and healing. Students are covering an array of stories across the Washington metropolitan area.
