Erin Winters, SOC '16 School of C Broadcast Journalism May 2016 graduate Erin Winters is a top 20 finalist in the "Live With You" Co- Host Search with Kelly  Ripa.  Erin competed with hundreds of others. Today on the show it was announced she is in the top 20! School of C Highlights #DTU Coming full Circle From left, MCLyte, #DTU spokesperson, Tatyana Hopkins,  Rushawn Walters, Brandi Montgomery, Victoria Jones, Sidnee King, and Dr.Benjamin Chavis, NNPA President & CEO It was a time of celebration for the #DiscoverTheUnexpected (#DTU) fellows, who were recognized at a closing ceremony luncheon for the #DTU, NNPA/Chevrolet sponsored journalism fellowship program. Eight Howard University students participated in the summer 2016 internship and scholarship program. They worked in four markets – Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago and Washington, D.C. – at National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA) member papers. The students developed content across multiple platforms to cover communities in the four cities with storytelling that reflected people and issues across a range of topics.
