MFA alum featured in industry magazine 
We are pleased to see the May issue of American Cinematographer feature MFA alumnus and cinematographer  Bradford Young. The issue focuses on industry mentorship and inclusion. A Q&A with Young looks at the cinematographer's career path and the support he received.

MFA alum lands in Martha Vineyard's film festival
Adding another spotlight to her work in film, Chukwunonso "Nonso" Dureke, MFA alumna, thesis film Bride Price was accepted into the 2020 Martha's Vineyard African-American Film Festival. The film festival is a often a precursor to more great things to come. School of C MFA faculty are pleased to see an alum take a thesis film and move to higher levels. Congratulations to alumna Leslie Foster for her new role on CBS Weekend News. Leslie is an award-winning journalists and a weeknight anchor at WUSA9 in DC.

Connections Make a Difference Today@Apple Sessions The Apple Carnegie Library welcomed students from Howard University's Advertising & Copyright Design and Audio for TV & Film and Multimedia Audio Production classes during the Spring 2020 semester. For more than 120 minutes, students explored how to take a concept for a campaign and map it out with a storyboard using Procreate and practice bringing a storyboard to life using the Trailers section of iMovie. The session was part of a planned three-part Field Trip series (prior to COVID-19 pandemic) in which students explored with Apple staff how to create media for advertising and marketing campaigns in iMovie and GarageBand. Thanks to Professor  Roger Caruth  for arranging this opportunity for students. Omnicom & ANA Visit Omnicom and ANA Educational Foundation's visited Howard in early March.
