Alumna and author TaJuan “TeeJ” Mercer (’94) is in good company making a mark on the screen as editor for a reality TV show. She joins alumni Lyric Ramsey (’05) and  Shannon Baker Davis (‘00) making Bison foot prints as television editors for reality shows. www.iSeeMeOnTV.com

Summer in the Newsroom
After a summer in the newsroom, SOC professor Yolanda McCutchens returns to class this fall with new insights and ideas to share with students. She spent the summer at The Washington Post.

SOC associate professor Ingrid Sturgis is featured on a new site that lists multicultural experts on everything "from coding to content strategy."

Leticia Williams, doctoral student, School of C
Congratulations to graduate student Leticia Williams who was the 2014 recipient of the Capital Speakers Club of Washington, D.C. Scholarship Award. Williams is a teaching assistant in the Principles of Speech Program, and entering her second year as a doctoral student in the communication, Culture and Media Studies department. She was among 34 applicants from seven area universities that competed for the award.
