Journalism and Film (MJFC) department.
Her new book published this summer, Black
Magic Woman and Narrative Film: Race, Sex and Afro-Religiosity with Palgrave
Macmillan publishers. Missouri teaches in the MFA graduate film program, and is

Venise T. Berry, on the publication of the second edition of their book Historical
Dictionary of African American Cinema published by Rowman &
Littlefield. Berry is an associate professor
