 Taking the Prize
La'shane Holland

SOC’s La'shane Holland is a winner in Ketchum’s Mindfire “Deodorant Campaign Challenge.”

“Congratulations to La'shane for being Ketchum’s Mindfire winner and for showcasing the talents of HU. As well as, Dr. Tia Tyree for being her amazing professor,” says Ketchum’s Ronald Tolson in announcing the winner in June.
Ketchum is a global PR firm that sponsored a program called Mindfire, where college students around the country can offer ideas for brands for possible use in campaigns. Each winner receives a $100 cash prize.

Dr. Tyree encourages students to apply the knowledge and skills learned in her CapComm Lab to enter the Ketchum competition. La’shane exemplifies this in her recent win with the Ketchum campaign.
