December 2016

Dear Alumni and Friends,

Season’s Greetings from the Cathy Hughes School of Communications! The holiday season is a time to reflect, rejoice and rejuvenate. We also acknowledge our gifts and share goodwill with others.

Thanks to you this has been a great year for the School with a successful 45th Anniversary Soirée in September and renaming of the School in October. We have more than four decades of preparing communication professionals who are known across the nation and around the globe; we have Pulitzer Prize and Gracie Award winners, a Marshall Scholar and Rhodes Scholar finalist, ASHA Honors winners, and so much more among our faculty, staff, alumni and students.

We look to 2017 with all the possibilities that a new year brings as Howard University celebrates its Sesquicentennial – 150th Anniversary. As you consider your end of year giving, we encourage you to support the Cathy Hughes School of Communications.
