Hearst Award Winner
We are proud of Glynn Hill for placing in the top 20 of the breaking news category for the Hearst Awards, which are the collegiate equivalent of the Pultizer Prize.

Bernaiyya Jackson
Germany Embassy Young Journalist
School of C student Bernaiyya Jackson will participate in the 
Young Journalists’ Summer Program sponsored by the German Embassy, which will be held May 25-29 in Washington, D.C.  Bernaiyya is a junior broadcast journalism major and Annenberg Honors Program scholar, with an interest in international affairs.  She will join journalism students from universities in Germany, Columbia, UNC Chapel Hill, and Berkeley for a week of workshops on media and society in the U.S. and Germany, as well as relations between the two countries.
